Rein Squires

Rein Squires is a commercial barrister with a speciality in succession law, trusts and equity and guardianship of vulnerable persons.

Rein advises and represents clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters within those practice areas.  Rein is known for being pragmatic and commercial in his approach and advice.

Rein has been listed as a leading junior counsel in Doyle’s Guide for Wills & Estates Litigation barristers for Western Australia (2025 and 2024) and as a recommended junior counsel in Doyle’s Guide for leading Wills & Estates Litigation barristers for the whole of Australia (2025). He is a committee member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners of Western Australia (STEP WA) and chairs its policy sub-committee.  Rein is also a member and deputy chair of the national policy committee of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Australia Limited (STEP Australia).
