Congratulations to Francis Burt Chambers members who have recently successfully completed the Essential Trial Advocacy Course (ETAC) – Guru Kugananthan, Shane Murphy, Simon Rogers, Christopher Taylor-Burch and Kellie Woods.
The residential course, run by the Australian Bar Association and hosted in Adelaide earlier this month, provides barristers with an opportunity to receive coaching from experienced senior barristers and current and former members of the judiciary in the essential skills of presenting an application, opening a case, examining in chief, cross examining and making a closing address.
A number of the ETAC coaches were also from Francis Burt Chambers including The Hon Michael Corboy SC, Paul Yovich SC, Bettina Mangan SC and Rebecca O’Brien – all giving their time voluntarily and generously sharing their expertise and experience.
