Clinton Russell

Clinton Russell is an experienced commercial barrister. His practice focuses on building and construction, energy and resources, property and insolvency disputes.

Clinton appears in superior courts and tribunals for trials, interlocutory disputes and appeals. He has represented both major construction companies and small contractors, major banks, insurers, resource companies and property investment companies in a broad range of commercial disputes in which large amounts, serious consequences or reputational issues were at stake.

Known for his keen commercial judgment and practical approach, Clinton regularly appears as sole counsel. He also acts as part of a team of leading and other junior counsel, solicitors and experts.

Before being called to the Bar, Clinton was a Senior Associate in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team at King & Wood Mallesons. He was educated at the University of Western Australia.
