He regularly advises and appears in connection with regulatory prosecutions and investigations (including WHS & Energy Safety prosecutions).

Rex is a specialist adviser in the WA and National regulatory frameworks governing energy markets (electricity and gas) and third party access to, and economic regulation of, monopoly infrastructure (including electricity gas and rail) - in which he has more than 18 years’ experience acquired through working for industry participants, regulators and the WA Government.

He also accepts briefs in migration law (including visa cancellation) and family law (property disputes, FVRO).

Rex’s clients value his pragmatic approach, commercial acumen and the ease of working with him.

Rex commenced his career at the State Solicitor’s Office of Western Australia where his practice included a range of commercial and public law matters and he appeared in most jurisdictions, including the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts, and the State Administrative Tribunal.
