Kim Lendich SC

Kim Lendich SC is a commercial barrister with over 25 years in practice, appointed Senior Counsel in 2020.

Kim's practice centres on complex commercial disputes in the Supreme Court, Federal Court and Court of Appeal. Kim acts for a wide range of clients - from multinational corporations, statutory authorities and regulators to family companies and individuals - in high-value litigation and appeals.

Kim's commercial practice regularly involves large-scale contractual disputes, including in energy infrastructure and mining. She also acts in professional negligence claims, and on behalf of regulators in proceedings involving misleading or deceptive conduct and market disclosure.

Beyond litigation, Kim has served as Counsel Assisting a major public inquiry and has appeared in coronial and other authorised inquiries. She also appears in commercial arbitration matters and related appeals.

Before joining the Bar in 2012, Kim practised at international and national firms, giving her a strong appreciation of how instructing solicitors approach complex litigation strategy.

She was a Director of WA Bar Chambers Ltd from 2012 to 2025, serving as Vice-Chair (2019–2023) and Chair (2023–2025). Kim has held board and governance roles including with the ORIGINS Biobank Ethics Committee and the MLC Foundation. Kim also regularly teaches advocacy. Kim is also fluent in French.
