Profile
Anthony has developed a strong general practice over more than two decades at the Bar. His work has a particular focus on medical litigation, disciplinary work for health professionals, coronial inquests, industrial issues and personal injury.
Anthony predominately, although not exclusively, practises in SA and WA. He undertakes a variety of trial and appellate work. He is also a respected negotiator and regularly involved in exploring alternative dispute resolution processes.
A passion for all sports underpins his considerable experience in sporting disputes, as both the Tribunal and advocate. Anthony is a Code of Conduct Commissioner for Cricket Australia and has worked across a wide range of sports in disciplinary matters and dispute resolution.
Anthony is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Sports Lawyers’ Association (ANZSLA.) He has presented on a variety of topics locally, nationally and internationally, as well as being published.
Legal education is also a keen interest. Anthony has been a member of the coaching faculty in advocacy programs for Bar Readers in SA and WA for many years, and Course Co-ordinator for the Adelaide-based courses in 2014 and 2016.
Anthony is available to accept briefs in both Perth and Adelaide, with no travel or accommodation requirements.
