Francis Burt Chambers is pleased to welcome Michelle Bennett who joined Chambers on 1 May 2024.
Michelle practices broadly in commercial and administrative law. She has a particular interest in equity, trusts, and deceased estates.
Michelle joined the Victorian Bar in 2019 where she appeared as counsel, led and unled, in all Victorian courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. In 2023 Michelle returned to Perth.
Prior to joining the Bar, Michelle had a diverse legal career in private practice and government. Michelle has worked at Allens, the ACCC and the Australian Government Solicitor, in commercial litigation, trade practices and regulatory law.
