Francis Burt Chambers was proud to sponsor the Great Western Moot – an intervarsity mooting competition that brought together student competitors from UWA, Murdoch, Curtin University and Notre Dame.
Modelled on appellate advocacy, the competition gave students the opportunity to test their skills in a practical setting, and showcased some of WA’s most promising legal talent.
We acknowledge the contributions made by Jessica Berry, Simon Bourke, Lee McIntosh and David Mulligan, who generously gave their time and expertise to judge the preliminary rounds.
At the Grand Final on Thursday, Rebecca O’Brien spoke on behalf of Chambers to congratulate all those involved and share what supporting this important initiative means to us.
