Kim Lendich SC recently participated in the Association of Corporate Counsel (WA Branch) In-House Counsel Day 2025. Kim joined Penelope Ford, Rosie Roach (both of Hall & Wilcox), and Katherine Whitehead (Crown) in an engaging discussion on a range of key legal issues affecting in-house counsel. Members of the audience – whether advising their clients from private practice or navigating these issues themselves as part of an in-house team – benefited from this opportunity to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the common challenges around briefing external lawyers and counsel, the importance of privilege and confidentiality (including the ever terrifying prospect of inadvertently waiving privilege and how to avoid that occurring!), effective methods for working with experts, and making compliance with discovery obligations in litigation as efficient (and painless) as possible.
