Tessa Herrmann practices predominantly in native title, and public and administrative law. She also accepts briefs in respect of resources, environment, and contracts matters.
Tessa has considerable native title experience including: claimant and non-claimant native title applications; compensation applications and negotiations; and future act, land access and heritage matters. Tessa acts on behalf of clients around Australia. Tessa is consistently recognised in the Doyles Guide national list of leading native title barristers, and is included on the Federal Court of Australia’s list of National Native Title Mediators. She is also an author for Lexis Nexis’ Native Title Service.
