Jennifer Solliss

Jennifer was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2013.  She was called to the Bar in 2019 and specialises in criminal law.  Jennifer accepts State and Commonwealth briefs for defence or prosecution and regularly appears in the Supreme, District, Magistrates, Children’s Courts and as counsel on appeal.

Jennifer has served on Bar Council for four consecutive terms, including two terms as Secretary.  In 2024, she was awarded the Attorney General’s Community Service Law Award.  Prior to being called to the Bar, Jennifer was Associate to the Honourable Newnes JA of the Supreme Court (Court of Appeal), then spent several years working in the commercial litigation team at MinterEllison and as a defence lawyer for Legal Aid in the Pilbara.
