Adrian Duffy QC has a broad practice encompassing commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation, including Admiralty, maritime and aviation law, industrial and employment law, commercial and professional indemnity insurance, engineering and construction, mining and resources, native title, trade practices and commercial contracts.

Prior to being admitted to the Queensland Bar in 1997, Adrian practised for 14 years as a solicitor, most of which time he was a partner in one of the prominent firms in Brisbane.

He has served on and chaired many professional committees and delivered papers on various areas of law. He is presently a member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the Queensland Bar and Editor of Hearsay, the Journal of the Bar Association of Queensland.

Adrian is listed in the 2016 edition of Doyle’s Guide as a leading transport barrister in Australia, and as one of the leading employment & WHS barristers in Queensland. In the 2017 edition, he is listed as a recommended Senior Counsel in native title.
