Warm congratulations from the Board and members of Francis Burt Chambers to Isabelle Somers, who has been awarded the 2025 Francis Burt Chambers Law Medal.
This is the 23rd year FBC has supported this award, which is made to Murdoch University’s top law student.
Pictured here receiving her award from Lee McIntosh of Francis Burt Chambers. During her studies Isabelle was employed as a Lead Labour Relations Adviser from the Government Sector Labour Relations division at the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety. Throughout her career in Government, she has contributed to framework and policy reform, led industrial agreement negotiations and provided advisory support on industrial relations legislation and framework matters. Isabelle has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (with High Distinction).
