FBC is pleased advise the arrival of Tom Lettenmaier to Francis Burt Chambers from 1 July 2026.
Tom has developed a broad national practice in administrative law, appeals, industrial relations, employment and discrimination matters. He appears regularly in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, and a range of State and Federal tribunals, including in interlocutory, first-instance and appellate proceedings.
Tom is frequently briefed by government agencies and corporate clients, and has particular experience in migration and NDIS matters. He commenced his career as associate to Judge Lucev of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, before working in the Government Litigation team at Sparke Helmore.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Tom worked at the Street Law Centre, representing clients experiencing homelessness, particularly in criminal, traffic and restraining order matters.
