Francis Burt Chambers is pleased to welcome Ilona O’Brien.
Prior to joining the bar, Ilona was the Executive Director for Legal Services at the Corruption and Crime Commission. In this role she was responsible for a team of lawyers who were providing legal advice and representation in operational matters and in civil litigation.
Now, Ilona has a public law practice specialising in Commissions, Inquests, and Inquiries.
Ilona has extensive experience in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts specifically with criminal cases involving the use of investigative and coercive power.
