FBC Member Edward Greaves presents at Legal Aid WA’s Criminal Law Day

On Thursday last week, FBC member Edward Greaves presented at Legal Aid WA’s Criminal Law Day which is a part of their Summer Series of seminars. Edward’s CPD seminar was titled ‘Fearless Advocacy: Persuasion, Precision, and Thinking Outside the Box’.

Joined by Chelsea Fruhwirth (Chair, Legal Aid WA) and Helen Prince (Equus Chambers), Edward contributed to an engaging and insightful session on what it means to be a truly fearless advocate.

The seminar explored practical strategies for refining advocacy skills, handling complex and novel legal arguments with confidence, crafting persuasive written submissions, and responding effectively to both opponents and judicial questioning. It was a valuable opportunity for practitioners to benefit from Edward’s expertise and experience on these issues.
