Francis Burt Chambers congratulates the winners of the 2023 Women Lawyers of Western Australia’s Annual Awards.
Chambers were once again Gold Sponsor of the awards, which recognise women who have made an outstanding contribution in their various careers, including those whose careers may not have followed traditionally recognised pathways.
This year’s winners were:
- Antoinette Kennedy Award: Deborah Milton (awarded posthumously and accepted by her daughter Grace Ritter)
- Woman Lawyer of the Year: Belinda Wong
- Rural, Regional and Remote Woman Lawyer of the Year: Sally Oliver
- Junior Woman Lawyer of the Year: Lea Hiltenkamp
More than 500 guests, including enthusiastic representatives from Chambers, attended the annual Honours Dinner to celebrate the achievements of the award-winners and all nominees across the four categories, and to recognise all women forging successful careers in the law.
