Advocacy is a critical skill required of every barrister. While it takes years of experience to hone those skills, every year, the WA Bar Association and SA Bar Association join forces for a week-long, intensive advocacy training course for those members who are new to the Bar.
The courses are made possible by volunteer coaches including former members of the judiciary and experienced Counsel. This year, the course was hosted in Adelaide and Francis Burt Chambers’ Bill Keane, Anthony Crocker and Gary Cobby SC were all pleased to volunteer as coaches for 30 participants including many of our own new members. Congratulations to all involved in another very successful course.
