Profile
Henderson maintains a diverse advocacy practice including aviation, construction, commercial, employment, family, criminal and public law. She has acted for oil & gas companies, airlines, insurers, government, as well as individuals.
Experienced in the needs of big firms (former employers include Freehills, Clifford Chance, and Clyde & Co), she is sympathetic to the differing needs of boutique and suburban firms, and encourages enquiries, no matter how small.
Henderson’s value lies in her cost-effective billing and discretion. Henderson is adept at strategizing to meet client expectations and optimize commercial results. An aircraft enthusiast, Henderson is happy to travel and accepts briefs in regional WA.
Before practising law, Henderson completed a PhD in History from the University of Western Australia (and was awarded a fellowship to the University of Virginia for her research on Thomas Jefferson). She remains both an enthusiastic historian and a dedicated supporter of the Virginia Cavaliers. She has worked in London (where she learned to call football by its proper name), and Glasgow (where she learned to drink Guinness by the pint).
Henderson’s diversity of interests and experience (both professional and personal), means she can communicate effectively with clients and those she represents, from all walks of life.
