Profile

Chelsea Walsh was appointed to the Bar in 2017.

Before being elected to the Bar, Chelsea was a Senior Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) for seven years.  At the AAT, Chelsea was cross-appointed to the Taxation & Commercial Division, the General Division, the Freedom of Information Division and the Veterans’ Appeals Division. Chelsea was also appointed, in a persona designata capacity, to execute warrants.

Chelsea is respected for her technical legal skills and firm ability to adjudicate complex disputes.

Earlier in her legal career, Chelsea was Associate to the Honourable Justice Graham Hill of the Federal Court of Australia (Sydney Registry) and a Senior Associate, specialising in tax law, at prominent legal firms Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens) and Atanaskovic Hartnell, Sydney.
