Varun Ghosh
Varun Ghosh has a wide-ranging practice that focuses on commercial, construction, infrastructure and financial disputes, as well as equity, administrative law and constitutional law.
Prior to joining the Bar, Varun was a senior associate in the disputes team of King & Wood Mallesons in Perth, where he represented banks, resources companies and construction companies in a range of commercial disputes. He has also taught administrative and constitutional law at the University of Western Australia.
Varun was previously a legal consultant at the World Bank in Washington D.C., advising in relation to global financial stability policy and insolvency law reform.
He was also an associate in the banking team at White & Case LLP in New York, where he acted for a range of banks, private equity groups and borrowers in relation to leveraged finance transactions.
He has a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Law (First Class Honours) from the University of Western Australia; and a Master of Law degree from the University of Cambridge, where he studied on a Frank Downing Law Scholarship.
