Denise Chesworth

Denise Chesworth’s practice is strongly focused on personal injury and insurance litigation. In particular Workcover arbitration, Workcover appeals, workplace negligence claims, workplace sexual harassment claims and motor vehicle accidents.

From 2008 to 2021 Denise was the sole director and principal solicitor of a very successful personal injury law firm. Denise has also worked as a defendant solicitor which has enhanced her insight into both sides of personal injury litigation.

During her time as a solicitor Denise honed her skills as a negotiator and understands that managing her client expectations is the key to a successful outcome for her clients.

In addition to running her law firm Denise tutored and lectured at Murdoch University between 2008 and 2013, was invited to give radio interviews on workplace laws, wrote articles for the West Australian on sexual harassment in the workplace, was invited by the National Tertiary Education Union as a guest speaker focusing on safe work practices and sexual harassment in the workplace in 2019 and has guest lectured at Murdoch University.
