Cheyne Beetham

Cheyne Beetham accepts briefs in commercial, employment and public law.

Cheyne has appeared in most courts and tribunals in Western Australia, including the Supreme Court, Federal Court and Court of Appeal. He has appeared as Counsel Assisting the Inquiry into the City of Perth and as Counsel Assisting the Coroner.

Prior to joining the bar, Cheyne was an Assistant State Solicitor at the State Solicitor’s Office, and an Associate to the Hon. Justice Barker of the Federal Court of Australia.

Cheyne holds a Master of Law (First Class Hons) from the University of Cambridge, and bachelors degrees in law and arts from the University of Western Australia.
