The Hon John Chaney practises solely as a mediator and arbitrator and does not provide legal advice or representation.

As a judge of the Supreme Court and president of the State Administrative Tribunal, Mr Chaney has adjudicated many hundreds of cases and published hundreds of written judgments. Since retiring from the bench he has accepted appointment as arbitrator under Western Australian legislation.

As Chief Justice of Western Australia, Mr Martin managed the Court’s arbitration list for 7 years, and published many decisions in that field at first instance and appellate level. Prior to his appointment as Chief Justice he was regularly briefed to appear as counsel in domestic and international arbitrations.
