David acts in commercial matters with a particular focus on corporations, corporate insolvency, bankruptcy and security enforcement.

David has appeared in the superior courts in Western Australia for debtors, lenders and insolvency practitioners in a variety of debt recovery, security enforcement and insolvency related matters.

In the corporations field, David has acted for companies, directors and shareholders in relation to disputes over control, meetings, directors’ duties and members’ rights.

Prior to joining Francis Burt Chambers, David was a partner of Gadens Lawyers and later DLA Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper Australia) where he practised in the area of commercial dispute resolution and insolvency. He acted for various corporate and professional services clients in that role.

David is an associate member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
